OBJECTIVES
Understand, design and manage the 4G core network. The course examines in deep the architecture, devices and protocols introduced by the Evolved Packet Core (EPC). Then it analyzes the most important infrastructure procedures and users management, through call-flows and case studies. It also describes interfaces and signaling protocols that allow 4G, 3G, 2G access networks and non 3GPP networks efficient interworking.
